In plain words: Who owes you, how much, and since when? And whom do you owe? The aged receivable and aged payable reports are part of Odoo Enterprise. Aged Receivable & Payable Report gives them to Community: every customer or vendor by age of the open balance, with the invoices behind each figure, as of any date, in PDF and Excel.
Tip: Click Open items on a partner to see exactly which invoices make its balance.
What you get
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Receivable and payable | Two reports: customers (what they owe you) and vendors (what you owe). |
| Six ages | Not due, 1-30, 31-60, 61-90, 91-120 and over 120 days late. |
| Counted from | The due date (how late it is) or the invoice date (how old it is). |
| Open items | The invoices, the credit notes and the payments not yet applied, with their due date, days late and amount. |
| Any date | As of a past date, the payments made after it are not counted. |
| Filters | Partners, salespeople (of the invoice), and a minimum balance. |
| Totals | The total, the overdue amount and its share, and the amount over 90 days. |
| Analysis | Pivot and graph of the open items by partner and age; filters for overdue and credits. |
| PDF and Excel | A PDF with the summary and, if you want, the invoices; an Excel file with the summary and the open items. |
| Arabic | Everything is translated and works right to left. |

Show the report
In plain words: Invoicing → Reporting → Partner Reports → Aged Receivable (or Aged Payable). Choose what you need and click Show the report.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Report | Receivable (customers) or payable (vendors). |
| As of | The date of the report. |
| Age counted from | The due date, or the invoice date. |
| Partners, Salespeople | Only these partners, or the invoices of these salespeople. Empty: all. |
| Minimum balance | Leave out the partners whose balance is below this amount. |
| Print the open items | Adds the invoices behind each partner to the PDF. |
In plain words: At the top: the total, the overdue amount, its share of the total and the amount over 90 days.
The open items
In plain words: Open items (on the report, or on a partner line) lists the invoices, the credit notes and the unapplied payments: the document, the dates, the days late, the age and the amount. Open opens the invoice. The list can be grouped by partner, age or salesperson and filtered: Overdue, Over 60 days, Credits and unapplied payments.
Tip: A credit note or a payment on account is a negative amount: it reduces the balance of its partner.
Analysis
In plain words: From the open items, switch to the pivot or the graph: the amount by partner and age.
Reports as of a past date
In plain words: Choose an earlier date in As of: only the invoices of that date or before are counted, and the payments made after that date are put back, so the report shows what was open then. The ages are counted from that date.
| Example | Result |
|---|---|
| An invoice due 45 days ago, paid today; report as of 10 days ago | Open, 35 days late: bracket 31-60. |
| The same invoice, partly paid 20 days ago; as of 10 days ago | Only the unpaid part is open. |
| Report as of 30 days from now | Today's open items, with the ages 30 days further. |
Print and Excel
In plain words: Print gives the summary as a PDF, with the invoices of each partner if Print the open items is ticked. Export to Excel gives two sheets: the summary by partner and age, and the open items.
Who can do what
| Who | Can |

Arabic and right to left
Limits
| Limit | Detail |
|---|---|
| Company currency | The amounts are in the currency of the company; invoices in other currencies are converted as in the accounting. |
| Fixed ages | The six ages (30, 60, 90 and 120 days) are fixed. |
| Posted entries | Draft invoices are not counted. |
| Up to 50000 items | Choose some partners for more. |
For developers
In plain words: Skip this chapter if you only use the module.
aging = env['taqnix.ar.ap.aging'].create({'kind': 'receivable', 'as_of': '2026-09-30', 'age_by': 'due'})
aging.action_compute()
for row in aging.partner_line_ids:
print(row.partner_id.name, row.b0, row.b1, row.b5, row.total)Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| There is no open balance for these choices | Check the date, the partners and the minimum balance: only posted invoices that are not fully paid are counted. |
| A customer is missing | Its invoices are paid, draft, or the salesperson filter leaves them out. |
| A balance differs from the partner ledger | The report is in the company currency and as of the chosen date. |
| I cannot see the menu | You need an accounting access right. |
Updating and removing
Replace the folder with the new version, restart Odoo and run -u taqnix_ar_ap_aging. Nothing is stored: the report is computed when you open it.
