It compares the first check-in of the day with the start of the employee's working schedule (in the employee's time zone). Beyond the grace in minutes, the arrival is late.
It is the time worked before the schedule starts plus the time after it ends, if it reaches the minimum you set. A lunch break without a punch is not counted as overtime. Work on a day without schedule is overtime too (you can switch that off).
No. The schedule used excludes the public holidays and time off of the calendar, so those days are not expected.
Yes. Choose departments or employees; empty means everybody.
Yes. Two Excel files: the totals per employee and the day-by-day detail. The PDF can include the days too.
No. It is a report: it does not approve or change anything in Attendances.
The day is shown as No check-out, without hours, so you can correct it and compute again.
