Yes. The preview shows the old price, the new price, the difference, the change and the margin of each product. You can edit a price or leave a product out, and nothing changes until you click Apply.
Yes: round up to a whole number and choose the ending .99, .95 or .90, so 49.3 becomes 49.99.
By category (with its sub-categories), by tag, by a range of current prices, or select them in the product list and use Actions, Update prices.
Yes, from the history. Products whose price was changed after the update are left alone and flagged, so you never overwrite a newer price.
No. It changes the sales price and the cost of the product. Price list rules stay as they are.
The sales price of the template is updated. The cost belongs to each variant, so a template with several variants is left out of a cost update.
