By the Entry number column: rows with the same number make one entry. Without it, rows with the same date and reference are one entry.
Each entry must balance, have at least two rows, one date and one journal, valid accounts, partners and analytic accounts, and not fall in a locked period. An entry with a problem is left out as a whole.
Yes. Untick Post the entries and they are created as drafts.
ISO dates (2026-03-31), real Excel dates, and dates like 03/04/2026 read day first or month first, as you choose.
Yes, if you tick Create the missing partners. Otherwise an unknown partner is an error.
Yes. Drafts are deleted; posted entries are reset to draft and deleted. If a period is locked nothing is deleted and the reason is shown.
No: entries are imported as they are, in the currency of the company, without tax lines.
