Odoo's standard invoices and receipts are correct but plain, and changing them normally means editing QWeb templates.
Advanced POS Receipt & Invoice Customizer lets you choose the look in the company settings: five styles for invoices and quotations, five for Point of Sale receipts.
Invoices and quotations
- Classic, Modern, Minimal, Bold, Compact, or Odoo's Standard
- An accent colour for your brand
- Amount in words, in the document's language, Arabic included
- Signature boxes for your company and the customer, and a translatable footer note
- The same style for quotations and sales orders, if you wish
- Preview with your latest invoice in one click
Point of Sale receipts
- Compact, Classic, Modern, Detailed, or Standard, for the whole company or per shop
- An order barcode, small print such as the return policy, items count and savings
- Printed as an image, so it looks the same on browser, network and ESC/POS printers
Safe
Nothing in your data changes. Choose Standard and everything looks as before. Special text is escaped, so a footer note can never break the page.
Tested for real
The receipt styles were produced by running real Point of Sale sessions and paying real orders. Invoice and quotation styles are covered by 15 automated tests that render the actual reports.
Documented
Illustrated documentation in English and Arabic and an Arabic translation of the module.

Frequently asked questions
Does it change my data?
No. It only changes how invoices, quotations and receipts look. Choose “Standard (Odoo)” and everything looks as before.
Which documents are covered?
Invoices and credit notes, optionally quotations and sales orders (PDF), and Point of Sale receipts.
Can different shops have different receipts?
Yes. The company chooses a default and each Point of Sale can pick its own style in its settings.
Does the amount in words work in Arabic?
Yes. It uses Odoo's number-to-text in the language of the document. The currency's unit names come from the currency, which you can translate.
Will it work with my receipt printer?
The receipt is printed as an image, so it looks the same on browser prints, network printers and ESC/POS printers. Printers that build their own receipt without it do not use the styles.
Do I need to edit templates?
No. You choose styles in the settings. Developers can add their own style with a little CSS.
Do I have to restart anything after changing the receipt style?
Close and reopen the Point of Sale session so that it loads the setting.
Does it support Arabic?
Yes. The module ships an Arabic translation, and the documentation is available in Arabic with right-to-left layout.
