Taqnix Backend Theme gives the Odoo 19 Community backend a complete redesign without changing how Odoo works. Your people get clearer spacing, softer surfaces, a real dark mode and your brand colors in every view; you keep every app, workflow and record exactly as they are.
Install it and the backend is restyled at once with the default Taqnix Violet palette. Everything else is optional.

Requirements
Odoo 19.0 Community. The module depends only on Odoo's own web and base_setup modules. It restyles the backend only: the website, portal and PDF reports are untouched. Odoo Enterprise is not supported.

Frequently asked questions
Which Odoo versions and editions does it support?+
Odoo 19.0 Community. Odoo Enterprise ships its own home menu and dark mode, so the theme is not for Enterprise.
Does it change my data or how Odoo works?+
No. It only changes how the backend looks and behaves in the browser. It adds a few fields to companies and users (colors and the chosen appearance) and removes nothing.
Does dark mode really cover everything?+
It uses Odoo's own dark asset bundles with a matching palette, so charts, pivots, the calendar, Discuss and the editor switch too. Third-party modules with fixed colors may need their own dark styles.
Who can change the theme?+
Administrators, through the Theme Studio (sun or moon icon, then Customize theme) or Settings → Theme. Every user can choose Light, Dark or Follow device for themselves.
Does it affect my website, portal or PDF reports?+
No. Only the backend is styled. The website, the customer portal and PDF reports keep their own look.
Can each company have its own colors?+
Yes. Colors, navigation style, font and background are stored per company.
Does it work on phones?+
Yes. On small screens a bottom bar gives Apps, Menu, Search and More, with larger touch targets. You can turn it off.
Does it support Arabic and right-to-left languages?+
Yes. Layouts mirror automatically, and the fonts include Cairo, Tajawal and IBM Plex Sans Arabic.
Will it slow Odoo down?+
No extra requests are made when a page loads. The default font stack loads nothing from the internet; Google fonts load only if you choose one.
How do I remove it?+
Uninstall it from Apps. Odoo's standard look returns at once.
