FreshBasket requires WordPress 6.0+, WooCommerce 8.0+ and PHP 7.4+. It works with both the classic shortcode checkout and the WooCommerce block checkout.
How do delivery date and time slots work?+
At checkout customers pick a delivery day and a time window. You control the booking window, delivery days, holidays, slot capacity and optional slot fees from WooCommerce → Grocery Settings. Fully booked slots are disabled automatically.
Is the delivery slots plugin included?+
Yes. The package contains the FreshBasket theme, the FreshBasket Grocery companion plugin (delivery slots, zones, loyalty points, recipe kits and more) and a child theme.
Does it support RTL and Arabic?+
Yes. FreshBasket ships with a mirrored RTL stylesheet that loads automatically for RTL languages such as Arabic, Hebrew and Urdu, and is translation-ready with .pot files for the theme and the plugin.
Can I import demo content?+
Yes. The setup wizard can import demo products for four store types – supermarket, organic, fruits & vegetables, and meat & seafood – and ready-made About, Contact, Shipping, Returns, Privacy, Terms and FAQ pages. Demo products can be removed in one click.
Does it work with variable products and weight-based products?+
Yes. Variations are shown as tappable buttons or colour swatches, and products can be sold in steps such as 0.5 kg with unit labels like "per kg" or "500 g".
Which payment gateways can I use?+
Any WooCommerce payment gateway, including cards, wallets, bank transfer and cash on delivery.
Can I use it for stores other than grocery?+
The design and features are optimised for food and grocery retail, but the theme works with any WooCommerce catalogue, such as pharmacies, bakeries, pet food or convenience stores.
