Interview Scorecards for Odoo 19 Community documentation

A guide to interview scorecards: making the scorecards, scheduling and scoring interviews, comparing the candidates and the access rights.

Documents version 1.0.0Updated Oct 24, 2026

Start here

In plain words: Three interviewers, three opinions, and nothing to compare. Interview Scorecards gives every interview the same criteria with a weight for each, so each interviewer scores from 1 to 5, writes a short comment, gives a recommendation and submits. Odoo computes a weighted score per interview, shows on the application the average and who recommends what, and lets you compare the candidates criterion by criterion. Interviewers see only their own interviews, so nobody copies a colleague.

Tip: It works with the Recruitment app of Odoo: the interviews hang from the applications.

What you get

FeatureWhat it does
ScorecardsA list of criteria with a weight each (technical skills, communication, culture fit...), one per job position or a general one; a general scorecard comes with the module.
Schedule an interviewFrom the application: the round (screening, HR, technical, manager, final), the interviewer and the date; the interviewer gets an activity.
Score and recommendEach criterion from 1 to 5 with a comment, a recommendation from Strong no to Strong yes, and a summary.
Weighted resultThe score out of 5 of each interview, weighting the criteria.
Locked when submittedA submitted interview cannot be changed or deleted; only a recruitment administrator can reopen it.
Independent opinionsAn interviewer sees only his own interviews; the recruiters see all of them.
On the applicationA button with the interviews, the average score, and the opinions: 1 Strong yes, 1 No...
Compare the candidatesA pivot table and a graph of the average score of each candidate for each criterion.
Overdue interviewsAn interview whose date has passed and was not submitted is shown in red.

Make the scorecards

In plain words: Recruitment → Configuration → Scorecards → New (recruitment administrators). Choose the job position, or leave it empty for the general scorecard used by the jobs that have none, and list the criteria with their weight: a criterion of weight 2 counts twice as much as a criterion of weight 1, and the description says what to look for.

Schedule an interview

In plain words: Open the application and press Schedule an interview (or Recruitment → Interviews → All interviews → New). Choose the round, the interviewer and the date: the scorecard of the job is picked, its criteria become the lines of the interview, and the interviewer gets an activity. The button Interviews on the application opens all the interviews of the candidate.

Score a candidate

In plain words: The interviewer opens Recruitment → Interviews → My interviews, scores each criterion from 1 to 5, adds a comment, chooses the recommendation and presses Submit the scorecard. Every criterion must be scored and the recommendation given. The result is noted on the application and the interview is locked.

Limits

LimitDetail
Opinions are independent only for the interviewersThe recruiters see all the interviews, even before they are submitted.
One scaleThe scores go from 1 to 5; the weights are the only way to value a criterion.
No calendar invitationThe interview has its own calendar view; it does not create an event in the Calendar app.
Criteria are copiedChanging a scorecard does not change the interviews already scheduled.

For developers

In plain words: Skip this chapter if you only use the module.
app = env['hr.applicant'].search([('partner_name', '=', 'Priya Nair')], limit=1)
interview = env['taqnix.interview'].create({'applicant_id': app.id, 'interviewer_id': env.user.id, 'round': 'technical'})
for line, score in zip(interview.line_ids, ('5', '4', '4', '3', '4')):
    line.score = score
interview.recommendation = 'yes'
interview.action_submit() # locks it and writes the result on the application
app.tx_score, app.tx_opinions
