Delivery Driver App for WooCommerce connects your store to a ready-made Flutter driver app. You pick a driver on the order screen, the driver gets a push notification, drives the order to the customer and taps one button per step. You watch it all in WordPress, and the customer gets a text when the order is on the way and when it arrives.
The package has three parts that work together: the WordPress plugin, the Flutter source code of the driver app, and an online App Builder inside the plugin that makes your own branded Android app without installing anything.
For the shop owner
Assign Delivery Boy box on every order: choose a driver, it saves instantly and the driver is notified
Drivers are normal WordPress users with the role Delivery Boy: create as many as you need
Track Driver on Map button with the time of the last position
Proof of delivery: the driver's photo appears on the order (compulsory if you wish)
Every step is written to the order notes; the WooCommerce order becomes Completed automatically
Driver commission: a fixed amount paid once per delivery into the driver's TeraWallet

Build your own Android app online
The App Builder tab connects to the Taqnix cloud builder with your purchase code. Enter the app name, package name, your icon, logo, splash image and Firebase file, choose APK (to test) or App Bundle (for Google Play) and press Build. You receive the download link by email. No keys of your store are sent: the build server only gets your site address, branding and Firebase file.
Secure by design
Every request except login needs the driver's token and the server decides what the driver may touch: a driver only sees and changes their own orders. Delivery steps must be taken in order, commission is paid once, uploads must be real images, login attempts are limited, and the builder is only available to administrators with a security token.
Or build it yourself
The full Flutter source is included: Dio networking, Firebase Messaging, Geolocator, secure storage and image picker. Set your store address in one file, add your Firebase files and run flutter build.
Developer friendly
A documented REST API under /wp-json/taqnix/v1 (login, orders, history, status, reject, proof of delivery, location, push token, wallet) lets you extend the app or build your own dispatch board.

Requirements
WordPress 6.0+, WooCommerce 8.0+, PHP 7.4+, HTTPS on your store, a free Firebase project for push notifications. TeraWallet is optional (driver earnings). To build the app yourself: Flutter 3.41 or newer.

Frequently asked questions
What is in the package?+
Two code packages and the guide: the WordPress plugin (delivery-driver-app-for-woocommerce-plugin.zip) and the Flutter driver app source (flutter-app-source.zip), plus the illustrated documentation in HTML and PDF.
Do I need to know Flutter?+
No, if you use the online App Builder in the plugin: you fill in a form, upload your icon and Firebase file, press Build and receive the download link by email. Flutter is only needed to change the app's code or to build it yourself (including iPhone).
Can I build the iPhone app online?+
The online builder makes Android builds (APK or App Bundle). For iPhone, open the included Flutter source on a Mac with Xcode and an Apple Developer account, as described in the documentation.
What does the online builder send to the build server?+
Your site address, purchase code, app name, package name, your email and phone, the splash colour, your icon, logo and splash image and the google-services.json file. No WooCommerce keys and no store passwords are sent.
Can a driver see other drivers' orders?+
No. The app logs in with a personal token and the server only returns the driver's own orders (plus the open pool if you switch it on). Wallet, position and push token are private to the driver too.
How is the driver paid?+
You set a commission amount per delivery. It is added once, when the order is completed, to the driver's TeraWallet balance, which the driver sees as Total Earnings. TeraWallet is a free plugin you install separately.
Do customers get messages?+
Yes, if you switch on automated texts and enter the keys of Twilio, Unifonic, 2Factor or OTPless. The 'on the way' message is sent when the driver picks the order up, the 'delivered' message when it is completed.
I used the older Delivery Boy plugin. What changes?+
This version replaces the old Delivery Boy plugin and the separate App Builder plugin. For security the app now logs in with a token, so drivers need the new app. The documentation has a short migration chapter.
Does it work with HPOS?+
Yes, High-Performance Order Storage is supported.
