A complete table-side ordering and kitchen display system: an Odoo module that extends the restaurant point of sale and one Flutter app with two modes, Waiter for phones and KDS for kitchen tablets, in one package.
For the waiter
Live floor map: tables in grey, blue, yellow, green and red as the service moves; transfer and merge tables for large parties
Fast ordering: category grid, search, forced modifiers (meat temperature), paid add-ons (extra cheese +1.50), free kitchen notes and seat numbers
Combos and variants: pick one item per group of a combo (each item goes to its own station) and size chips for variant products
Courses with hold and fire: send appetizers and drinks at once, hold the mains and fire them from the tablet

Real time on your own network
Events travel on the Odoo websocket on a secret channel, with an event log for catch-up. Measured: 2 to 4 ms from Odoo's answer to the websocket frame and about 80 ms tap to screen on a development computer. Run Odoo on a small computer in the restaurant and the internet is not part of the service.

What do I get?+
The Odoo 19 module (live floor map, orders, courses with hold and fire, stations and tickets with SLA timers, modifiers, bills and splits, payments into the POS session, recipe stock consumption, reports, the API) and the complete Flutter source code of one app with a Waiter mode and a Kitchen Display mode for Android and iOS, with setup script, documentation in English and Arabic and automated tests.
Does it need Odoo Enterprise?+
No. It works on Odoo 19 Community and uses only Point of Sale with its Restaurant extension, Manufacturing, Inventory and Invoicing. The live link is the websocket of Odoo itself; no IoT box or subscription is needed.
How fast are the kitchen tickets?+
On a development computer the ticket reaches the websocket 2 to 4 ms after Odoo answers the waiter, about 80 ms from the tap to the screen. On a restaurant network expect well under 300 ms, depending on your Wi-Fi and server. The guide explains how to run Odoo on a small computer in the restaurant.
What if the Wi-Fi or the internet drops?+
If Odoo runs in the restaurant the internet is not needed at all. If the Wi-Fi blinks the waiter app keeps the order in an outbox and sends it, safely and once, when the link returns; the kitchen board shows a reconnecting banner and catches up with the events it missed.
Does it support combos and product variants?+
Yes. Odoo combo products are offered with one choice per group; each item goes to its own station and is billed and consumed from the stock on its own. Variant products (size, milk) appear as one card with a chip per variant.
Can I hold the mains and fire them later?+
Yes. Courses can be on hold by default (mains, desserts) and the waiter fires them with one tap; the kitchen sees the tickets only when they are fired.
How are bills split?+
Evenly between guests, by item or seat (including a share of a shared dish) or by amounts. Each part is paid in cash, by card or QR code with an optional tip; Odoo books POS orders in the open session and an invoice when the guest asks for one.
Does it consume ingredients?+
Yes. A bill of materials, including sub-recipes such as a house sauce, is exploded when the item is ready (or when sent or paid, as you choose); the kitchen and the bar can have their own stock locations. A recalled ticket puts the ingredients back.
Is it available in Arabic?+
Yes. The module, the apps and the documentation come in English and Arabic, with right-to-left screens.
